Our highly skilled team of practitioners hold degrees in Nursing, Professional Counseling, and Herbal Medicine as well as certifications and licenses in Acupuncture, Nutrition, Massage Therapy, Aesthetics (holistic skincare), Energy Healing, Yoga and T'ai Chi.

We service a wide spectrum of clients with a variety of desired goals and outcomes.  Some of our clients visit bi-weekly or monthly for preventative care and wellness.  Some visit a couple times per week for medical massage and acupuncture while others visit with regularity, or as needed, for management of chronic health imbalances...and there are those who come once and awhile for refuge from the busy-ness of their everyday life.

It has been our mission to make our services available to as many people as possible, regardless of income and without ANY compromise in quality of service.  We offer Insurance discounts, a Wellness Program and Membership option - our rates are reasonable and affordable.  More details below!

Matthew Wagner is a Certified Acupuncturist in the State of Wisconsin, and NCCAOM board certified herbalist.  Before moving back to Madison, he maintained a private practice, first in Boulder CO, and later in
Portland OR.  He received his degree from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder CO.  This Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (M.S.O.M) program consists of a total of 3,045 academic hours, as well as 1,140 hours of clinical practice. Additionally, he completed a private, two-year internship with Jack Schaefer, at Mountain West Wellness, in Boulder CO, focusing on herbal and classical theory, needle and hand manipulation techniques, and Qi Gong.  Matthew has also completed several post-graduate internships.  These include two, four
month long internships in Taipei, Taiwan, with some of the foremost doctors in the field of pain management and herbalism, as well as frequent observations at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital and Tzu-Chi Buddhist hospital. 

Matt found acupuncture and Oriental medicine while dealing with his own healing crisis; for a decade he suffered from debilitating insomnia, fatigue, and digestive complaints that were untreatable by conventional medicine.
